Kristen Parris Eventing Wins Two Blues for Combined Tests
at Sporting Days Farm
02 March 2012, Aiken, South Carolina - Kristen and her boys are at it again, winning both Combined Tests respectively with Briley and Ivan at Sporting Days Farm in Aiken, South Carolina! Both Briley, competing at Preliminary and Ivan competing at Training finished on their Dressage scores of 35.9 and 33.2 respectively.

They are training for the week with Lynn Symansky and preparing for their first trial of the season at Full Gallop Farm.  Check back for updates next week - Go KPEventing!

Kristen will be down in Aiken the coming week training with Lynn Symansky and preparing for their next competition at Full Gallop next weekend.  "It's so exciting to be back competing after the break-through year we had in 2011", says Kristen, "we are looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that 2012 will bring and we are ready!".

Kristen Parris Eventing Wins Two Sweet Spots at Full Gallop
11 March 2012, Aiken, South Carolina - Kristen and her boys earned 2 top 3 placements in their opening competition placing 3rd in Preliminary with Briley and 2nd in Training with Ivan, both finishing on their dressage scores!  "All the preparation we have been doing over the winter and our training sessions last week with Lynn Symansky here in Aiken have paid dividends as we had a blast out there today", states Kristen with a huge smile on her face, "I am so proud of my boys!".

Kristen, Briley and Ivan will compete next at Southern Pines in North Carolina at the end of the month with a proposed move up for both Briley and Ivan to Intermediate and Preliminary respectively at Fair Hill International.  Stay tuned for all the details right here.

Lord Ivanhoe Places 2nd in Training and No Halo Here Places 7th in Preliminary at Southern Pines II Horse Trials
24 March 2012, Raeford, North Carolina - Another top 3 placement for Kristen and Lord Ivanhoe as this pair rolls through the Carolina Horse Park to place 2nd in Open Training finishing on their dressage score of 29.6.  "Ivan feels fit and ready to move up to Preliminary as he constantly is demonstrating that he understands the elements we have been training on with Lynn (Symansky)". 

No Halo Here placed 7th in Preliminary Rider.  "When Briley is good he is exceptional, but today he was just not focused during our Dressage test" earning a 41.4.  This pair pulled only 1 rail in show jumping but had a phenomenal and clean cross country run!

Both Kristen's boys, Briley and Ivan, will make the big move up at Fair Hill International at the end of April so stay tuned here for intermittent updates on their training preparation and progress before the big show!

Kristen Parris Eventing Has Successful "Move-up" Debut at
Fair Hill International
21 April 2012, Elkton, MD - Two top 10 placements for both Kristen's boys at their move-up debut at Fair Hill International this weekend.  The weather cooperated for the weekend with the exception of Sunday which was cold and rainy!

No Halo Here debuted at Open Intermediate placing 9th out of 23 starters in a very competitive division.  This pair delivered a 41.6 in dressage and had double clear rounds in cross country and only one rail and a time penalty in stadium jumping to finish on a score of 49.6!  "Briley was absolutely foot perfect and rocked around our 1st Intermediate cross country course" a elated Kristen stated.  "I am so proud of all Briley's accomplishments, especially this weekend"!

Lord Ivanhoe debuted at Open Preliminary placing 7th out of 18 starters in another highly competitive division.  This pair delivered a 28.2 in their dressage test, had only one rail in stadium jumping and had a small time penalty in cross country to finish on a final score of 37.0  "Ivan had his big boy pants on and jumped around a big show jumping course and was bold out on the cross country course!" Kristen said.  "My goober is definitely growing up and loving the challenges at preliminary".

Kristen would like to thank her amazing husband Darren for all his support this weekend at Fair Hill - "he is my rock".
